RESEARCHER
Maja Bjelos is a public policy analyst and advocate in the area of security sector reform, including women, peace and security. She has nine years of professional experience working for the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. She has researched largely on various security issues, gender equality and the women, peace and security, with her research being published in domestic and international publications. She was a part-time visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade University.
In addition, she has experience in working as a consultant and trainer. Maja was also a coordinator of the Civil Society Network ‘Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia’. She graduated from the international relations program at the Faculty of Political Science at University of Belgrade, where she also completed a post-graduate masters programme in international security.
