Barbora Chrzová is a Program Manager at the Prague Security Studies Institute and has been leading both phases of the Western Balkans at the Crossroad project. She has managed the team, edited several PSSI’s publications, articles and briefing papers, organized conferences and other events, and also contributed with her analytical work and writing. Barbora is a PhD candidate at the Institute of International Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague where her research revolves around the politics of memory and identity and historical narratives in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Furthermore, she is a policy officer at the Consortium of Migrant Assisting Organizations where she deals with Czech migration and integration policies and advocates for the rights of foreigners living in the Czech Republic. She graduated in Balkan, Eurasian and Central European Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and in Political Theory and Contemporary History at the Faculty of Arts, both at Charles University.
